Michael Kaluta print - Bilbo’s Birthday Party.
This was packaged with copies of the Tolkien calendar done by Michael Kaluta. It depicts Bilbo dosing in a chair to the left. He is presented a cake carried by Sam. Pippin, Merry, Frodo and Gandalf also appear at the party. Galdalf produces smoke in the shape of the number five. Michael Kaluta saw this on the web site and sent me a note stating that this print was made to commemorate the 5th anniversary of a comic art store. It was designed consistent withn the theme of BilboÕs Birthday Party. Approx 8x10in. Signed and numbered by Kaluta in pencil.
